Re: Linker error with Builder 12 and FastReports
Okay, because we all know what a pile of bugs C++ Builder became over the last decade or so, I simply did the following: First I uninstalled and reinstalled the FastReport GetIt package. Then I tried to build the project - with no success again. And then I did the same thing as yesterday, I created ...

Re: Linker error with Builder 12 and FastReports
I only see some trial versions on the FastReport homepage, no installer that matches what you get through GetIt so I didn't try so far. Did you experience issues with the GetIt version yourself? Ultimately it seems to be a weird issue with TwineCompile because it works with C++ Builder's std. linker...

Re: Linker error with Builder 12 and FastReports
Thanks for that quick response. Yes, weird stuff indeed. 1. "Can you try adding the library path to that .o file manually into the project and seeing if that works?" The thing is, for that 64bit windows build there's no such file in the FastReport-2023.3 folders... There is however a frCor...

Linker error with Builder 12 and FastReports
When (and only when) I enable TwineCompile with Builder 12, linking of the most simple possible 64bit project with FastReport 2023.3 fails with the message: [Linker Error] CodeGear.Cpp.Targets(4010, 5): Fatal: Unable to open file 'FRCORECLASSES.O' Steps to reproduce: - create a fresh new VCL Forms a...

Re: Builder 12
@jomitech
Great to hear, thanks for the info!
I'll wait with any C++ Builder 12 installation attempt until the new TwineCompile is available because it doesn't make any sense to even try without

Re: Gridindex out of range
Unfortunately it doesn't fix things here neither. Here's my stacktrace: [5896A1ED]{vcl280.bpl } Vcl.Grids.InvalidOp (Line 928, "Vcl.Grids.pas" + 1) + $E [5896F7A0]{vcl280.bpl } Vcl.Grids.TCustomGrid.MoveCurrent (Line 3799, "Vcl.Grids.pas" + 2) + $10 [5896ECB4]{vcl280.bpl } Vcl.Gr...

Gridindex out of range
When I compile a unit and if there's an error, then TwineCompile 5.5.1 (current GetIt version), seems to be the reason for the following error message thrown by C++ Builder 11.3 (Patch 1): Gitterindex außerhalb des zulässigen Bereichs. (German, means sth. like " Grid index is outside the allowe...

IDE detects project file change
Hi, probably this is yet another bug in C++ Builder 11.3, however it only happens when using TwineCompile 5.5.1 (installed via GetIt) so I better tell you first: For some projects I have enabled build-version-numer-auto-increment for debug builds too. In such an environment the IDE will now hammer o...

The one right here at the top - which apparently just links to a JomiTech jpg logo delivered with a wrong http content type
